Download Terms
These Download Terms explain how catalogues, datasheets, CAD files, manuals, drawings, certificates and other engineering resources provided by TFC may be accessed and used by industrial customers, OEM partners and engineering visitors.
1. Overview
TFC provides downloadable engineering resources to support product understanding, valve gearbox selection, OEM evaluation, project communication and industrial procurement decisions.
By downloading or using TFC resources, you agree to use them responsibly for legitimate industrial, engineering, purchasing or project evaluation purposes.
Downloaded resources are provided for engineering reference only. Final product selection, dimensions, torque requirements, mounting details and project suitability must be confirmed with TFC before ordering or installation.
2. Resources Covered by These Terms
These terms apply to all technical and commercial resources available through the TFC website, including:
Catalogues, brochures, datasheets, product selection guides and technical summaries.
CAD files, STEP files, drawings, dimensions, mounting references and product outline files.
Certificates, inspection references, quality statements, testing information and traceability-related materials.
Installation manuals, operation guidance, maintenance notes and project communication materials.
3. Registration Before Download
Some resources may require registration before download. Registration may request information such as name, company, email address, country, product interest or project requirement.
TFC uses registration information to understand visitor requirements, provide relevant engineering support, improve resource management and maintain responsible access to technical documents.
- Download registration does not automatically create a purchase obligation.
- Download registration does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails unless a separate marketing consent option is provided.
- TFC may contact you regarding the downloaded resource, related technical questions or your submitted project requirement.
4. Permitted Use
You may use downloaded TFC resources for legitimate B2B industrial purposes, including:
- Product evaluation and preliminary gearbox selection.
- Internal engineering discussion, procurement review and project planning.
- OEM application evaluation and actuator or valve integration review.
- Communication with TFC regarding quotation, technical confirmation or custom requirements.
- Reference use in project files where TFC products are being considered.
Resources may be shared internally within your company or project team for the above purposes, provided that TFC ownership and document integrity are maintained.
5. Prohibited or Restricted Use
Unless TFC provides written permission, downloaded resources must not be used for:
- Copying, reverse engineering or reproducing TFC product designs.
- Removing TFC branding, copyright notices, watermarks or document identifiers.
- Publishing TFC resources on third-party websites, marketplaces or public file libraries.
- Using TFC documents to misrepresent product origin, certification status or manufacturing responsibility.
- Creating misleading technical claims, advertisements or quotations not approved by TFC.
- Reselling or redistributing TFC documents as standalone commercial materials.
6. Technical Data Accuracy
TFC aims to provide accurate and useful engineering information. However, product data may change because of engineering upgrades, material changes, project customization, standard revisions or manufacturing improvements.
Catalogue values, torque ranges, dimensions, ratios, mounting interfaces, material descriptions and performance information should be treated as preliminary reference unless confirmed by TFC in a quotation, approved drawing, technical agreement or order document.
- Final dimensions are subject to approved drawings.
- Final torque selection must consider valve type, service condition, safety factor and actuator configuration.
- Custom-engineered products may differ from standard catalogue information.
7. CAD Files, Drawings & Engineering Models
CAD files, product outlines and drawings are provided to support layout design, interface review and engineering communication. They should not be treated as final manufacturing drawings unless clearly issued and approved by TFC for a specific project.
Users are responsible for verifying file version, scale, interface requirements, mounting dimensions and application suitability before using CAD or drawing information in project designs.
8. Certificates & Quality Documents
Certificates, inspection references and quality documents may be provided to demonstrate TFC capability, quality control philosophy or product-related trust evidence.
General certificates published on the website may not represent every individual order, material batch or project-specific inspection requirement. Project-specific certificates, MTCs, inspection reports or FAT documents should be confirmed separately during order execution.
9. Intellectual Property
All downloadable resources remain the intellectual property of TFC or the relevant rights holder. Downloading a resource does not transfer ownership, copyright, design rights, trademark rights or other intellectual property rights.
TFC grants users a limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to use downloaded resources for legitimate engineering evaluation and business communication related to TFC products.
10. Privacy & Consent
Information collected during download registration is handled according to the TFC Privacy Policy and Data Protection / GDPR Statement.
Where marketing consent is requested, it should be presented separately from mandatory download registration. Users may withdraw marketing consent through unsubscribe links or by contacting TFC.
11. Changes to Download Resources
TFC may update, replace, restrict or remove downloadable resources at any time. Older documents may become outdated and should not be relied upon for new projects without confirmation.
For critical engineering decisions, customers should contact TFC for the latest datasheet, approved drawing or project-specific technical confirmation.
12. Contact TFC
For questions about downloaded resources, CAD file use, document version confirmation or engineering data accuracy, please contact TFC through the official contact page.
